Para el que pueda, hoy tendremos nuestra asamblea a las 11h. ¡Nos vemos allí!
Happy beginning of the week for everybody!!
We’ll continue with food vocabulary and today we’ll propose this fun gross motor skills activity with apples.
In the video we will review vocabulary of the unit (fruits).
We share with you this song to practice the vocabulary of this unit:
Gross Motor Skills
For this activity you’ll need tape and apples.
You’ll need to make a tree trunk using a tape in a spacious area of our house that would allow for a variety of movement. Try to put the branches pointing in different directions. On each end of the branches place apples to pick.
Before we start, explain to the kids that we could use a basket or a bowl to pick all the apples off the branches. To do this, we would need to come up with some fun movements and actions to pick the apples, for example you can jump on one foot, jump on two feet, maintain the balance or walk backwards.
When we finish we can count how many apples we have.
Objective: To practice our gross motor skills.
