Today, apart from reviewing the previous week concepts, we are going to focus on a new one: “the bee”. To work on it, you will have to print this bee. We will work on the blowing too. They really enjoy these kinds of activities.
Look!!! This is a bee!!!
Children will have to tear yellow and blue or white (the one that you prefer) papers, and stick small balls of paper over the bee (yellow for the body, and white or blue for the wings).
Objective: practicing fine motor skills.
Today we ́ve a caterpillar race! We are going to follow the steps shown in the video. We ́ll cut strips of cardboard, and after that we ́ll bend them 9 times. Then, we have to round out the edges, and we ́ll draw a beautiful happy face. Finally you only need a straw to blow over the caterpillars. Who will be the winner?
Objective: practicing the blowing capacity.
Gross Motor Skills
You can put two hoops on the floor, or you can draw them on a paper and putting them on the floor. Our children will have to throw small things, like macaroni, or another kind of pasta. The point is trying to throw the pasta into the circles.
Objective: to learn the concept “into” and to practice gross motor skills.
